Rock and opera singer, the ever-talented Alexander Kariotis and his Rock Opera Orchestra released his brand new studio album on February 4, 2014.

It opens with the rock-opera tune "Nessun Dorma- No One Sleeps" and it is followed by the rich and moving "Lucky in Love." "Pietà, Signore - Save This Soul" is quite versatile and his vocals are slightly reminiscent of Josh Groban. "Lennon in Heaven" has a catchy beat to it and it's another soaring vocal by Kariotis.

The instrumentation and vocals on "Home- Prelude XXI" is stunning. "Non T'amo Più - I Don't Love You Any More" is another refreshing tune, where Kariotis showcases his trademark pipes. "Le Rêve - The Dream" is a gorgeous ballad and "Vesti La Giubba" is more modern than the other songs on the album, but it works well.
"Ho Bisogno Di Te - I Need You" is a collaboration with esteemed American saxophonist David Sanborn. Kariotis' CD closes with a remix of "Veti La Giubba."

The Verdict"
Overall, Alexander Kariotis has released a solid new studio album. I was pleasantly surprised with how great it sounded and found it to be a nice treat. Kariotis' vocals are distinct, refreshing and powerful. It garners an A rating.
